On their website you can sign up for their newsletter so you never have to miss being properly costumed for an event!

• UBC Farm Market Garden — Did you know that UBC farm has an organic market garden? Visit their site for times, directions, and information on the demonstration garden and other projects.

• Science World — Science World has lots of intersting things going on, even when we're not playing there!

• Nat Bailey Stadium Farmers' Market — We played at the Nat Bailey Stadium Farmers Market, but Your Local Framers Market Society hosts markets all over the city.

Others

Mr. Fan doesn't have a web site. There are many good instrument stores, but I like Mr. Fan's because the violins (from his own factory in China) are light-weight, which makes them easy for kids to hold up, and they have an excellent sound. He also has a fantastic trade-in program as children grow into a larger size violin.
