The method of shipping is agreed to with the customer at the time of order placement, to meet the date required. All merchandise leaves our warehouse in good condition. We cannot be responsible for delays or damage that occurs in transit however caused. Where damage occurs claims must be made directly to the carrier within 3 business days after receipt of merchandise. Full insurance is included for orders up to $100 CDN (excluding shipping/taxes). If your party order subtotal exceeds $100 CDN, extra charge will apply to your order to ensure full shipping insurance.
**For your party order safety, please note that your order will require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that someone will be there to accept your order at the billing address on file with the credit card company. In the event that no one is available to accept delivery, a Delivery Attempt notice will be left along with Fedex contact information. Delivery re-attempt will be done the next business day unless other arrangements have been made with Fedex directly by you (we cannot make any delivery changes). If you order was shipped via Canadapost and no one is available to accept delivery, a Delivery Attempt notice will be left along with information on where and when your package will be available for pickup at your local Canadapost dealer.
We ship via FEDEX Ground or Canadapost Expedited for all regular shipping orders.

*INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING *
International Shipments (outside of Canada and United States) is based on actual size/weight of your order and is shipped by transport from our location in Port Alberni, British Columbia Canada (near Victoria, BC) all the way to your location with full insurance, full tracking and signature. We use Canadapost Express International for all International Shipments as it has courier shipping times but less costly. Once we receive your order, we will package and weigh for exact shipping charges and your order confirmation and payment request via paypal will be done at this time.
WEDDING SUPPLIES are excluded from above shipping rate guide: All wedding supplies shipped are based on actual size/weight of the parcel to the destination postal code.
TAXES: All prices exclude taxes. HST (12.0%) to be added to all orders and shipping charges within BC also other provinces where HST is in effect and GST (5.0%) to be added to all orders and shipping charges outside of BC.
PAYMENT METHODS: We accept payment for purchases at 99 in the Shade Party Supplies Balloons & More using Visa, Mastercard, via PAYPAL or you may opt to pay for your purchase via International Post Office Money Order. Please read below for payment option details.
During business hours orders will receive a confirmation within 2 business hours including details for the payment method you have chosen. We will make every effort to ship your order within one business day following payment verification.
**If we do not receive payment in full or response within 1 business day from our emails regarding your Kids Paper Partyware order, your order will be cancelled. This enables us to better serve our customers especially with party themes that have been discontinued. We appreciate your prompt responses regarding all orders.
IF YOU OPTED FOR CREDIT CARD VIA PAYPAL:
Your confirmation email will be followed by an email requesting payment via paypal. Where you will be redirected to the PayPal site for either credit card or PayPal payment. Please note that on the first PayPal screen you have the option to continue without being a PayPal member. Your credit card information is processed by PayPal (the world's largest online Payment Processor). Once we receive notification PRIOR to 2PM (Pacific Standard Time) weekdays of your PayPal payment, your order will be released for shipping the NEXT business weekday (excluding weekends/holidays) unless otherwise noted on your order confirmation email or our shipping page. Please keep this in mind when items are required quickly.
IF YOU OPTED FOR PAYING VIA POST OFFICE MONEY ORDER:
Your confirmation will include a payment form with all payment details. After receiving your payment via Post Office International Money Order, your order will be released for shipping the same business day as long as the payable information, currency and totals are correct. If items are required within a short time frame, we recommend paying via Paypal to avoid extra delays with mailing your payment.
Why does the Billing and Shipping addresses have to be the same? :
The increase in identity theft and credit card fraud has forced us to make this a requirement. If you are paying by credit card via Paypal, you will need to have parcels shipped to the address that the card is registered under. Your order cannot be processed if your shipping address differs to the one that is registered to the issuing credit card company, an error message will come up on the Paypal page, please change your billing address to the correct one on file with your credit card company and it should be then processed by paypal.
If you would like to ship your order to a different address you will need to pay by using a Post Office International Money Order in Canadian Funds. (You must send your Post Office International Money Order via Express envelope and we will ship your items once received as long as the payable, currency and totals are correct.)
DELIVERY TIMES: All times are only approximations and are not guaranteed. All freight rates and prices are in Canadian Dollars ($CAN). The day your order leaves our warehouse (received by FEDEX or Canadapost) never counts as a transit day. Weekends and most Holidays do not count as transit days. Please keep in mind any weather delays, nature or man made disasters, or any emergency beyond our control or the control of our courier.
IF I PLACE AN ORDER TODAY - WHEN WILL I RECEIVE IT?: We value all our customers and we understand how important your party orders are to you. We make it our goal to process your orders quickly and get them shipped out as soon as possible. If we receive your full payment prior to 2pm PST, your order will be released for shipping via Canadapost or Fedex the next business day, unless is noted on your payment confirmation or our website shipping page. Once your order ships, we will email you with a confirmation including tracking information so you may track the package with FEDEX or Canadapost.
RETURNS & REFUNDS: No returns or refunds will be accepted. All orders are a final sale. If a parcel is refused or no one is available at time of delivery attempt(s) and the parcel is returned to our retail location, there is no refunds or credits.
TERMS: C.U.P. (Cash Upon Purchase). No purchase orders or cheques are accepted. We do not ship COD. (You may opt for paying for your order via Post Office International Money Order in Canadian Funds, just let us know on your order or email. Your order will be released for shipping the day (mon-fri excluding holidays) that we receive your payment and you will receive your tracking number/invoice that same day).
SUBSTITUTIONS & BACK ORDERS: We do not back order. Otherwise we will ship as complete as possible to accommodate the date the order is required by. If an item is not available, we will notify you via email.
SPECIAL ORDERS: Prepayment is required before the order is placed. No cancellation of any special or custom orders.
DISCONTINUED PARTY PACK THEMES: Discontinued Theme Party Packs cannot be sold separately (ala carte) ~ sorry no exceptions. Unfortunately, once a party theme has been discontinued by the manufacturer, we can no longer re-order it.
SHIPPING OUTSIDE CANADA:
We ship outside of Canada via FEDEX Ground. For all USA orders paying via Post Office International Money Order in Canadian Funds we ship Canadapost Ground. Please note that all orders require a signature upon delivery. Please ensure that someone will be there to accept your order at the billing address on file with the credit card company.
We ship all orders Monday - Friday. If we receive/process your PayPal notification of payment by 2PM PST your order will ship the NEXT business weekday (excluding holidays) unless it is noted on your confirmation or our shipping page. After this time, your order will be released for shipping our next following next business weekday. Orders are only held for 1 business day while awaiting your payment, after this time, orders will be returned back to stock.
CAN I PICK UP MY ORDER LOCALLY?
Sorry, this option is not available at our new office location. All orders must be paid via Paypal and shipped via Canadapost with signature upon delivery required. We are an Online Retail Store Only. Our warehouse is not setup for customer pickup and therefore there is no local pickup option available.
DO YOU HAVE A PRINTED CATALOGUE?:
As party themes change very frequently, it would be too costly for us to run a printed catalogue. If there is a theme that you are searching for and do not find it on our website, please email us and inquire as we are always receiving new themes as it can take up to one week to have it shown on our website.
YOUR INFORMATION: We do not sell/or release any information received by our customers to any third parties.
ORDER TRACKING: You will receive a tracking number with your emailed copy receipt.
Who Pays for Duties and Taxes when I order from the USA? Our prices do not include duties, value-added taxes or miscellaneous fees. If assessed, these charges are the responsibility of the package recipient, who will be billed for them by the local Customs office and will become due upon delivery. We cannot estimate this amount and any charges from us do not include such international duties. Please keep this in mind when shipping to the U.S.A.
