Birch Meadow
Farms, home of BMF Morgan horses, is located in the beautiful Okanagan Valley at Enderby, British Columbia, Canada.
The property and surrounding area with scenic country roads, wooded areas and hills provide excellent conditions and environment for training our Morgans.
We began with the purchase of a two year old Morgan filly named Seven Up in
1974. Our first stallion, Correll King was bought in 1976 along with several foundation mares.
Good fortune was ours in 1978 in the purchase of a yearling colt, Triton Ryan. He began his show career as a two year old with Jake Price Stables
in Carlton, Oregon, USA. For the next ten years he was shown extensively in Western Canada and the Eastern and Western States. Shown in English Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Road Hack and Park, until his retirement in 1990, Triton
Ryan had ninety first place ribbons, fifty five Show Championships, and thirteen Reserve Show Championships to his credit. Five of these championships were won at the Grand National Morgan Horse Show in Oklahoma, USA. Although Triton Ryan is no longer with us, his foals have
inherited his typical Morgan disposition, athletic ability and winning ways and are now following in his footsteps. We have kept a few of his daughters to serve as a solid foundation for our breeding program.
Other stallions that have contributed to the breeding program at Birch Meadow Farms are
UVM Antietam and Aftershock Dot Com.
BMF Morgans have found homes in Canada, the USA, and in Germany. They demonstrate their versatility as reliable family pleasure horses, in Competitive Driving, or in the show ring, be it English Pleasure, Pleasure Driving, Hunter-Jumper, Western Pleasure, or Reining.
