This Day in History
-
2004: First of the rovers land on Mars ( Spirit ).
What's New
- Seti@Home Workunits can now be displayed with the Google Earth application.
- Support for BOINC 6.5
- BoincSpy Viewer (progress bars will indicate if the workunit is running on a CUDA enabled GPU )
- Filter out duplicate WU's when displaying WUs on the SkyMap and the GenerateGoogleSkyMap application.
- Filter out WU's that have an RA and Dec of zero, seems to be Astropulses Workunits that exhibit this.
- BoincSpy applications requires BOINC 6.4.5 or greater to run.
Note:
-
You can remove the \BoincSpy\DbAgent\Mono and BoincSpy\Farm\Publisher\Mono directories. This has been moved to the \BoincSpy\Mono directory.
What's Fixed
- Nothing.
Issues
- If the queue/task form is displayed for a long period of time, the scroll bars are no longer visible, ( possibly a .net issue ).
- Mono related
- If you minimize the application under linux you cannot get it back. Restart of app required.
- Some of the fields and buttons are being displayed incorrectly.
- SkyMap issues
- One of the windows within the skymap is larger than skymap size.
- If you close skymap the same window that is larger does not close, need to close the application to get rid of it
- On the MAC, SkyMap is broken. Checking to see if this a Mono issue.
- Known Mono bug, the uptime of the boinc process on the status bar is not available.
- CUDA enabled applications skew the CPU averages if you are storing the results in the SQL Server database. This will be fixed in the next release.
