This Day in History
-
1897: First Boston Marathon held
What's New
- Nothing
What's Fixed
- When viewing Astropulse workunits the recording date was being displayed incorrectly. The format of the ap_state.dat file was changed by SETI@Home.
- Modification to the database scripts so that they work with SQL Server 2005 and SQL Server 2008.
- BoincSpyAgent.exe ( Mono implementation )
- Application would exit occasionally with directory not found error.
- When a workunit was being saved to the database, the pulse / Gaussian records would fail to insert because the POT string array was empty.
If you are saving the workunits to SQL Server, you need to update the database schema. Upgrade instruction are in the \BoincSpy\Database directory
Issues
- If the queue/task form is displayed for a long period of time, the scroll bars are no longer visible, ( possibly a .net issue ).
- Mono related
- If you minimize the application under linux you cannot get it back. Restart of app required.
- Some of the fields and buttons are being displayed incorrectly.
- SkyMap issues
- One of the windows within the skymap is larger than skymap size.
- If you close skymap the same window that is larger does not close, need to close the application to get rid of it
- On the MAC, SkyMap is broken. Checking to see if this a Mono issue.
- Known Mono bug, the uptime of the boinc process on the status bar is not available.
- Clicking on the constellation in the skymap form will not bring not display constellation details anymore. WebSite that hosted that information is no longer available. I am trying to find another website.
- Setting the OS to a language other than English may
cause the applications to display the following error:
- exception of type System.FormatException System.FormatException: The string was not recognized as a valid DateTime.
