Family and Friends !
Now that you have seen a little of the scenery, I would like to say "Hello" to some special people! They know who they are of course, I tell them all the time!!
My son John, who is the sunshine of my life and gave me my first Computer, making me an instant 'Computer Nerd!' He is a Mechanical Engineer and the 'Brains' of the family. Karen, his Bride, makes him very happy! She spends most of her spare time, when she is not working as an Engineer, training her horse and has won many awards! They also own and operate a horse boarding business.
My older sister Marlene, a practical nurse, she is retired now and enjoying her grandchildren. She and her husband have a farm in Alberta. They grow mostly grain. We talk alot on the phone!
My younger sister Milly and her family live in central British Columbia. They raise and breed Quarter Horses on their ranch. She also has a PC but does not like Email!! She also has a webpage-go and visit her!
Carl, my nephew and his two sons, Patrick and Tyler, my 'Great Nephews' also live in Alberta. He works for an Oil Company!
At this point I would like to thank two very special friends! From the beginning they have given me encouragement and laughter. We have shared a few PC moments we would rather forget!! We have exchanged many early morning and late nite email. Through all the Deletes-Reboots and Frozen Cursors we have survived and managed to send our email.

There is a special place in my heart for my best friend Tina!!! We have been friends for most of my adult life. Altough we live some distance apart now, our bond of friendship is secured by the passage of time! We shared many happy hours - some sad - when I remember those times now, I wish we could go back!! I think of all those times we spent together playing Kanasta and talking. As I grow older I realize how lucky I am to have "A Best Friend!"
In the past few years I have met and become very good friends with several wonderful people who have helped me very much! I have also become closer with old friends who have been there for me when I needed support!
My dear friend Ursula - We have been friends for more years than I want to count - ha! ha! Thank You for the hours on the phone when I needed to talk!
My Friend Joy who was there for me when I needed her the most - helping me renovate my old house! Whom I can always count on! She visits when she can.
My newest best friend is Linda - she has helped me in so many ways I can not count!!!!!!!!! Thank you Linda for being there for me and being my friend!!! Especially for taking me to the hospital in -25 snowy weather when I broke my hand and waiting with me in the hospital till midnite!!!! She has a computer and is hooked like the rest of us. She loves music and is a wonderful artist! She will have a webpage up soon with some of her paintings! The love of her life is her son Karl!
My friend and neighbor Leo and his best friend Minkapupi - his cat - is a constant reminder that there are still wonderful people in this world.
Leo has been a great help to me -- he has repaired and built many things in my house! My dog and cat love him to come and visit!
I could not end this page without telling you about the rest of my family - My dog and cat!! They are both very dear to me! My little adopted orphan Rottweiler Ben!
The cat, who has owned my house for over 10 years, has been very tolerant with the rest of us. He treats the dogs as if he were a cat but they are buddies and we live together in relative harmony, until someone gets stepped on or ignored!! I have spent many late nites with this computer and lately on this homepage but Mikey, the Havanna Brown has always been by my side!! He sleeps on my lap while I am typing and when the PC is idle he plays with 'Felix' the little Cyber Cat on the screen!
I have learned many things in the past few months - the most important of which was patience. I made many mistakes and with a little help from my family and friends I finally have my Homepage -- "Under Construction" ?! PS This is Ben!
My favorite Big Cat is the Black Panther or Black Leopard. It is the rarest of all "spotted" Leopards - it has emerald green eyes. The Black Panther is actually a very dark Leopard. It is believed, in some Asian countries, sending a picture of a Black Panther to someone is a symbol of Good Fortune for that person.
My wish is-- Good Fortune to all my Family and Friends!!!
