Will MYOB work on Vista?
The simple answer is Yes. The installation process is a little different. You can load MYOB in an XP compatible mode.
Here is how you do it. . .
Put the program CD into the drive and when it comes up, don't install.
Instead choose to explore the disk.
When it opens up you will see all the files on the CD. Choose Setup.exe and
right click on it.
Scroll down to properties and open up properties. You should see a button
or tab called compatibility.
Select run in XP compatibility and MYOB should install.
You might have to do the same with your data files but hey, that's not a big
deal.
The MS Word and Excel spreadsheets will only work with older versions of
Office. 2000 and before.
