This is the classic home page: no bells, no whistles, nothing much of interest. (That holds true for most of the rest of the site as well.) All it does, in fact, is get you to various pages that might provide you with an opportunity to waste some time. Good luck.

 

 Evening Cove    My brother and I own four ha of waterfront property just north of Ladysmith, on Vancouver Island. We decided to sell half of it, and this part of the web site tells you all about it.

 Coast to coast to coast to coast    Some time ago my wife Mary and I drove all around the edges of North America. This tells the story.

 A Boy and His Toy       In 2006 I bought an E Type Jaguar, and wrote a three-part series for the Growler, the newsletter of the Vancouver Island Jaguar Club. The article won the 2007 first prize for
                                            Jaguar Newsletter articles in the 'Heritage' division, from the Jaguar Clubs of North America.

Japan                                In April of 2006, Mary and I toured Japan with the Ebb Tide Over 40's rugby team.

Panama                            In the summer of 2007, Mary, our daughter Alexandra, and I spent several weeks in Panama.

Take off, for the Great White North  In May of 2008, Mary and I drove to the Yukon and Alaska.  

New Zealand                   In the summer of 2009, I toured New Zealand with the Ebb Tide Over 40's rugby team.

Steaming Ahead              In the fall of 2009 Mary and I went to Sacramento to look at a 1919 Stanley, which I subsequently bought

 SSSteaming on              In October, 2010 Mary and I drove 14,000 kilometers to look at Stanley’s (and other things).

About gout                       In the fall of 2010 I developed gout. Everyone has heard of it, but most people don’t know much about it. (Luckily.) Here’s your chance to learn a bit about it.
