AFTERNOON DROP-IN COFFEE HOUSE

A Drop-In Coffee House for Young People wishing a place to Visit, share in crafts and games, some hot-chocolate,  and listen to Live or Canned Music of their Choice will be held the second Tuesday each month [2:30 to 5:30 pm] at Fairview Baptist Church, 1708 West 16^th Avenue at Pine, Vancouver, B.C.

The DROP-IN will be hosted by members of Fairview Baptist Church.  The use of drugs, including alcohol, at the Church Coffee House is not allowed.

The Drop-In Coffee House will run through June, 2006, as a pilot, with continuance throughout the rest of the year if there are interested Users.

Everyone is welcome.  The activities will reflect the requests of those people who attend.

Upon request, a set of eight sessions called “learn to cook with simple recipes” will enable 4 to 8 people to use kitchen facilities to cook a main course.  Ingredients will be supplied and participants will share in a meal and take home the remainder of their food in the cookware they brought.
