No visit to this area would be complete without a tour of the Mascot Mine which virtually hangs on the cliffs overlooking Hedley. This tour takes approximately 4.5 hours and begins at the Interpretation Center.

There are 50+ wineries, some which are world renowned within a 54 mile (90 km) radius from Hedley including the "Wine Capital of Canada" - Oliver.
