Jed's Reputation Spreads...

I saw a cat just yesterday, a lovely cat it was
a coat of brown and white, a handsome lad
"hello" I said, "it's hot today", he looked at me and sniffed
then said "I do believe you are Jed's Dad"

"That's true" I said "do you know Jed? he hasn't mentioned you"
"I've heard a lot about him" he replied
"please give to him my best regards as soon as you reach home"
with that he slunk into the bush to hide

Nothing would tempt him to come out and, talking to a bush
was not my favourite way to spend the day
so I just bade the bush farewell, I got into my car
and thinking of Jed's ‘fame' I drove away...
