A Warning to Gardener's (The Weeds)

I met a friend the other day, when walking, with my cane
he asked me what had happened and I said "let me explain"

On Sunday evening I went out to pull a weed or three
but one of them was tougher and that vicious weed got me

In pulling hard I twisted something, next thing that I knew
I was flat out on the lawn not sure what I should do

It struck me, as I lay out there a-grimacing with pain,
the grass was sticking up my nose, needs cutting once again

I had some help to get back up and over to a chair
I'm not sure what I would have done if no one had been there

I visited the Doctor on the morning after this
he pushed and pulled a little and advised that I should miss

The weeding, for a little while, in fact take lots of rest
do exercises, take these pills and don't be so distressed

So listen all you Gardener's, there's some nasty weeds out there
approach with caution and with stealth, in other words, beware...
