Tig stayed here at L Bar J to help with chores and eventually we'll also be competing in ASCA's stockdog program!
Tig also got to try his hand at moving some sheep in the round pen. Not only
does he have his Mom's temperament, he is going to work like her too! He
works much wider than his sister Windy, and with very little pressure I
could easily turn him both ways, and getting to head was no problem for Tig
either.
Tig & Hawk...hide'n'seek anyone?
I'll play a bit with them over the winter, but we won't start anything formal with either Tig or his sister Windy until next spring or summer.
Tig (short for Tigger of course)
It was so hard to make a decision on which pup to keep. We waited so long for these pups, and they ALL just kept growing on us!! Larry said "oh hell, just keep 'em all" and I was pretty tempted!! However sanity did prevail.......sorta.....and we "only" kept two. Tig is a clone of his mother in temperament! He is such a love, always wanting to be near us.
