Loretta's
American Girl
Doll Collection 2006
October - December

Samantha is wearing her brand new velveteen
skating outfit,
complete with mitts and earmuffs! This is taken
in November 2006, the month of a lot of snow in
beautiful British Columbia!

Samantha meets a
new friend.

Samantha was astonished when she showed up
at the tea table one afternoon, and a new girl was
sitting in her place! At first she was jealous, but
it turned out Kit and her had a lot in common,
and soon became good friends.
Kit arrived on September 22,
2006.
(It took her 3 weeks to come by plane from
the AG place in Wisconsin!)

 |

Kit was surprised shortly after
arriving, to be
greeted with a brand new bath tub!
A friend on the AG group site kindly shipped
it to them. Such things weren't to be found
in Canada! Now, who would try it out first? |

Samantha and
Kit's First Halloween!
|
 |
Samantha and Kit
discovered a wonderful
pattern on eBay, designed by a wonderful
seamstress! They begged their Mummy to
make a special outfit for each of them.
Here they are, wearing
their adorable dresses.
The seamstress is Carla, and her website is here:
http://www.dressydolly.com/CarlaC/
Her patterns are so
easy to sew! And both
Samantha and Kit were ecstatic with their new costumes!
|
|
Samantha got a very
special gift from
one of Mummy's best dolly friends;
a special desk chair all her own!
Samantha was very
happy, as
she knew she would use it a lot to
write on. She loved making up stories.

Here is Samantha posing with her special
black cat,
spider and pumpkins. It was
sure a fun party! So many good things to eat,
and such nice friends to share it with.
Best of all, she got to pose in the
window for a special
Halloween display on October 31, 2006,
and all the neighbourhood kids noticed her! |

Christmas
fun!
Samantha and Kit didn't
realize that the house
they were living in was Dutch!
Every December 6 the
Dutch people set out
their wooden shoes. If they've been good,
the shoes are filled with a wonderful surprise.
Samantha and Kit loved
this idea!
(You'll notice that
Kit has a brand new red dress and
matching hair bow! Her wardrobe isn't as extensive as
Samantha's.)
