Alicia and
Loretta's Dad.
Isn't it
great that he gets a holiday each year for his birthday?
Wow...

We wondered
what the square shaped blocks of wood were for. We asked this lady,
and she told us they marked the site of the original servant's
quarters.
Her great
grandfather was born in the one she is standing beside, way back in
1855.
She is of
Scottish and Metis descent. (She used to own a Chatty Cathy, but she
lost her.)

This is the only original
building at the site. It was the trading center for the Fort.
It was built 165 years ago! |
|
Alicia is on
the 2nd floor of a
building overlooking the
Fort site. |

We went antique shopping
in Fort Langley, and found some
neat things, including
a Canadian flag candle! |
|
View beside
Fort Langley.
We had a
wonderful
Canada Day! |
