This is my dear childhood Chatty Cathy,
which I received from my parents for
Christmas, 1964.

I was so excited to get her! I can still
remember screaming. She has blonde hair, blue
glassine eyes, and is wearing her original
blue "Canadian Visit" dress. The little bow
and ribbon at the waist is long gone.

She also has her original red shoes, and her
original box with the Simpson Sears
price tag of $11.99 on it.

My Mom really had to consider whether she would
place this doll on her Sears account card or not.
She took 3 months to pay it off!

I'm so glad she did.
