JL, 12 June 2008 Returning home after 30
hours away were 188 emails to greet me. That, on top of what
was already waiting in
a pile when I drove away from it.
My desktop OS is in the throes of dying, still. It's died completely several times and then mysteriously come back to life each time. Kind of reminds me of myself. My laptop is not well set up for carrying on as usual. It gets me through the mail on an emergency basis and that's about all. So I need a couple or three days to get my system back in order. I'm trying not to panic. Next week I have family coming to visit. As I alluded to in a recent post, my life might be undergoing major changes. Well, it happened and change is upon me. But I'm not going anywhere far away. I will be around. I will still keep track of the Forum. It is still my intent to start JLiki classes around the end of the month. I think that will be my computer project for the summer. A handful of you signed up as interested, I don't want to let you down, and I think it will be fun. I'm dancing around the edges of Legacy 7, waiting for the various updates and fixes before I get into it seriously. I haven't yet attacked it with gusto, except that I really like those new Search options. There are over 150 postings in the Archives so if you're just joining us, there's still alot of timely material to peruse at your leisure. When you see "JLiki 1" on your radar that means we're starting. Anyone interested, get your flash-drive ready to go. Until then, I'm under the radar but still here.
