Whether I am editing or writing, I am always passionate about the words.
Effective communication is of the utmost importance to me.
Every piece I look at is given the same care and consideration I would give my own work.
As an editor, I work with corporate newsletters, manuals and websites;
book manuscripts; academic papers; magazine articles and other,
personal forms of communication. I am as comfortable with business
writing as I am with fictional writing when it comes to editing. I
always work with the voice of the writer in mind -- my job is to make
your writing clearer. I can provide a light edit for grammar and typos,
or an in-depth edit for flow and thought process as well as grammar and typos.
As a writer, I love to explore new ideas and re-examine old ones. I am
a life-long learner, and it shows in the passion I bring to my writing.
I have a journalism degree from Carleton University, and have worked in the editing and writing field for 15 years.
