Meet Our Cats

a couple of lovable felines who share our home!

Hi, I'm Harley! I'm a tortoise shell. I love talking to my owners, even if they don't seem to understand what I'm saying. I gurgle, chirp, mumble, babble and chatter all day long. I love to get into things especially in rooms that are forbidden, like the quilt studio! If there's a ribbon or a paperclip around somewhere, you can be sure I'll find it!

And I'm Princess! I have lovely autumn colours, lots of auburn and gold in my fur, a sweet quiet gentle personality, and cute white socks (although you can't see them in this picture). I love to hide under things. My favourite sleeping spots are rolled up in a quilt or under a sheepskin rug - anywhere I can find a little peace and quiet !

Here we are again - Princess makes such a nice soft pillow, when she wasn't looking, I snuggled in for a nap. ~ Harley

A note from our owners - We found Harley and Princess at our local SPCA in the spring of 2002. Princess was about 1 year of age, and had already had two kittens that had been adopted out elsewhere before we found and adopted her. Harley was a bit younger, and she picked us! Wilbur and Emily, our previous cats, also came from the SPCA and spent 18 years with us. We encourage you to consider your local pet shelter if you are looking to adopt a new pet, and to have them neutered. Our cats are indoor cats for their health and safety
