About the Artist:

Martin Sollanych lives with his wife, Alma, and 3 children in Port Coquitlam near Vancouver, B.C. Canada.
He is a professional engineer graduating from the University of British Columbia in Electrical Engineering in 1978.
Pastimes besides painting include hiking and some astronomy as well as looking after some fruit trees in the backyard.

Martin and Alma have been actively involved in their Catholic parish. Martin has served on the elementary school education committee for 4 years, taught catechism for four years, and worked at bingo. He is a member of the Knights of Columbus and is a church reader.

Martin and Alma have attended World Wide Marriage encounter.
