The Temptation in the Garden

The first thing which attracted me to this picture was the tail of the serpent surrounded by the "spotlight".  You can see this clearly in the lunar photograph.  The temptation in the garden features a tree of knowledge (with several forboding faces) and the serpent offering Eve the forbidden fruit.  An angel holds Eve's other hand in an attempt to disuade her.  The other angel is the cherubim with a sword who was to guard the garden after the fall. Note that the serpent and Eve are actually quite dark in the photo, which probably makes more sense than my painting since we seem to think Eve came from Africa.
Actual Painting measures 16"x20"
