The Nativity

[Image] This Nativity painting (far left) is based on the b&w photo (left) from the Moon, and features Mary, the Christ child, shepherds, and other worshippers. The string of bright "lights" inspired me to paint a Menorah since Christmas time may have been during Hanuka.  I didn't paint the roses in the bottom right corner until several years after I had finished the rest of the painting. I was prompted because of a dream I had of an old lady standing in front of the painting pointing to the bottom corner and then an image of roses flashing before me.
           Actual Painting is 16"x20"
