Author Bio
Nicola Merrells grew up in Vancouver and now lives in Surrey, British Columbia, with her husband, their son, and several furry dependents. She's done all kinds of writing, from travel articles to history pieces to poetry and copy writing for advertising, and re-charges her creative writing batteries each year at the Surrey International Writers' Conference, an event that she's also helped organize for many years. Nicola has a long list of favourite authors, including (in no particular order) Diana Gabaldon, Elizabeth Chadwick, Sharon Kay Penman, Sandra Gulland, Susanna Kearsley, Cecelia Holland, and Jack Whyte.
