Ingemar's brother Ottar brought the aircraft compass and Verey pistol and gave them to Harvey to take home.
Telling the story of how as an 11 year old he had proudly worn the wedge cap that had belonged to second pilot George Deeth on Norwegian liberation day in 1945 Ottar entrusted the cap to Harvey to return to George Deeth's family.
George's son Doug visited Harvey in Victoria and received the cap from him.
