January 9, 1979 "Bobby Orr Day" ceremonies took place   throughout the City of Boston. The Boston Bruins and fans recognized Orr's accomplishments by retiring his Jersey in Boston Garden.  Color  footage from all day  ceremonies plus the entire jersey retirement that night at Boston Garden including the spectacular ten minute standing ovation from the Gallery Gods along with interviews with his former teammates. Rare footage.

Bobby Orr at Maple Leaf gardens for the first time in only his 4th pro game as a young Bruin. See him while he was a young 18 year old with healthy knees and his crew cut.  This is third period action only and the teams play to a 3-3 tie this night on an original HNIC broadcast in black and white.

Very Rare Bobby Orr Rookie Year Footage of His 4th Game Ever  Oct.29/1966.

This is a very rare treat indeed---footage from Bobby Orr’s rookie season 1966-67! This DVD  features the entire third period only of a game between the Boston Bruins and the Toronto Maple Leafs at Maple Leaf Garden on October 29, 1966. The game ends in a 3-3 tie. For Orr fans this is a very rare opportunity to see the legend as an 18-year-old phenomena  showing the brilliant moves that he would later perfect throughout his short but sensational career. Hockey fans will delight in being able to watch legends such as Dave Keon, Norm Ullman, Eddie Shack, Johnny Bucyk and Pie McKenzie in the last season before expansion. If you are an Orr fan, this is the real deal. The DVD quality is excellent condition.

Watch Bobby Orr and the Big Bad Bruins beat the Leafs 8-3 in this classic game just 1 week prior to the Bruins run to defend the 1970 Stanley Cup win over St. Louis. Also on this DVD is Bobby Orr's first ever interview on Hockey Night in Canada with Ward Cornell when he was just 14 years old playing with Oshawa. Truly a classic moment in his career.
