Daniel Ward has been an active part of music for over 20 years. He holds a performance degree in classical guitar from the University of New Mexico, and is trained in jazz, flamenco, and most world music. His performance experience with dancers includes national tours with Pablo Rodarte and Eva Encinias, work with Maria Benitez, and most recently, the powerful stage productions "Cabaret Ole" and Fuego Flamenco.

grantruiz@opendoor.com Grant Ruiz has played guitar since he was 10 years old, beginning
with classical guitar. More recently he has studied flamenco with
artists such as Pedro Cortes
(Hijo), Antonio
Andrade, Roberto
Castellón, Jason
McGuire "El Rubio", and Mark Taylor. In Spring 2005
he lived in Seville, Spain and studied at Taller Flamenco. In 2004 he
played Latin American music in the Green Show at the Oregon Shakespeare Festival. In 2003
he was the composer, arranger, pianist, and guitarist in the premier
of "Lorca in a Green Dress" at the OSF, along with dancer La Conja. In 2002 he played music of
Renaissance Spain as part of the Green Show at the OSF. From 2001 to
2004 he was the accompanist for the flamenco troupe Amor Flamenco
from Mt. Shasta, CA. Mr. Ruiz has recently started a new flamenco
troupe, Fuego y Ceniza, in his hometown of Ashland. He is currently
an officer and board member of the Jefferson Classical Guitar
Society.
