The Mailman is set in the fictional former coal mining town of Tipple, Washington. It's an amalgam of small towns found in British Columbia and Washington State. The mining town of Wilkeson, WA., comes pretty close to what I had in mind. So, with apologies to Wilkeson (from whence these pictures really come) here's a cook's tour of Tipple. |
