This
service includes cleaning all areas under the hood and in the engine
compartment. Leaves and pine needles are removed from under the cowling. Areas
are degreased from multiple angles and bad areas agitated with a brush then
pressure washed clean. Care is taken when spraying so as not to soak
electronics, air filters and such.
After
the engine compartment is cleaned, the engine is dressed with a water based
sealer. It leaves everything protected from the elements and conditions the
rubber components. Non flammable protectant leaves a satin shine.
This
service starts with cleaning tires, rims/mags, door/trunk jams and the wheel
wells. Bug and tar removal from grill areas, body, backs of mirrors and
windshields is standard. Hand wash of the exterior and rinsed.
After
the exterior is washed and rinsed, the car is wiped down with a chamois to
prevent water spotting. Then the door/trunk jams are wiped out. All the tires
and exterior vinyl is then dressed.

The
interior is then cleared of large items and air pressure blows out all the
nooks and crannies that are normally hard to reach. Then the interior seats, carpets
and floor mats are vacuumed up. If required, the carpets and/or upholstery will
be cleaned.

The
vents will be cleaned with compressed air. Various brushes are also on hand for
tough to clean vents. The Tornado works well for this application. The steam
blaster cleans out those nasty cup holders and console messes as well.
All
interior vinyl is wiped down and conditioned, glass cleaned inside and out, and
the nooks and crannies are cleaned. Headliners can be cleaned or spot removals
blended in.

Carpets,
upholstery and even vinyl panels, dashes and other parts can be dyed. Good for
faded, stained or even when replacing a part with a good one of another color.
A
color chart will be used to determine the best matching color to be used.

All
of my jobs start with a clean car. Cars are washed, chamoised off, then claybar
is used. Claybar with Bodyshine preps and cleans the surface. It deep cleans
and smoothes the surface. It removes small imperfections, the odd sap/tar etc
that was not cleaned off in the wash process and to feel the surface of the
paint.
Scratches
are then cut out with a buffer and compound. For really badly scratched areas,
I might have to cut the whole surface, but in most cases the first cut is
spotting the scratches out.
Next
step is the glaze. The whole surface is smoothed out with New Car Glaze. This
gives the car a bright deep luster and seals the surface. It also removes swirl
marks from the compound, and removes oxidation. In some paints swirls are more
common. I have swirl remover as well for those tough colors (like black),
though I have personally never had to use it after a proper machine glaze.
For
my Tech’s, I have supplied the risk free system. It is an expensive polishing
system that finishes a surface perfectly every time. I still use a Makita
buffer and dual sided pads for cut polishing with wool pad, and the synthetic
wool with the glaze, as I am old school and difficult to change my ways (ask
the people that work with me about my obsession with things being where I want
them). I am impressed with the system and it’s a lot easier on the body. It
never burns rubber moldings, never swirls, and polishes a glass smooth finished
waxed vehicle removing smaller scratches and swirls through a 3 stage process.
Final
stage is to apply a carnauba based paste wax by hand. Auto Magic EZ Paste lasts
on the car’s surface a long time. I prefer doing a little extra work to get a
superior lasting shine. This will leave a deep and wet looking finish on your
car.

For
most odors, these will be removed with cleaning and spraying the area with an
anti microbial type spray. The Auto Magic Odor Eliminator will work on pet
urine, smoke and other hard to get out smells.
