Royal Greetings, Lori Bonevitch, Municipal Enforcement Officer from the Planning & Development Branch of the City of Edmonton has contacted me and advised me that I cannot operate the WWGA, issue newsletters or continue the web site from my home without paying the City a licensing fee because there was an exchange of money (e.g. $10 lifetime membership fee). It is with deep regret that I must resign as the President of the World Wide Gnome Association ("WWGA"). Since taking over operation of the WWGA the minimal fees collected were used to pay for draw prizes. If any member wants to assume the responsibility of the WWGA please contact me or Jani Hallam before June 15, 2009.
