I hand painted the background on 100% white cotton and then added embroidery and appliqué. These tiny shadow gnomes were used in the 'Sacred Meeting Houses' gnome quilt project. They are tiny like little Polo logo's and look great although my picture is not as sharp as the actual designs. Each one is 3/4 of an inch! My Janome 10001 sewing machine never ceases to amaze me.

Nice soft designs. Available as appliqué or embroidery files.. mischief-maker-3.JPG (21762 bytes)This gnome has a lovely texture to his beard and rosy cheeks. I will update gnomes one and two to have the same textured beards. I used white thread with this one and it makes him look younger than the first two.
whitecap1.jpg (32893 bytes)This lovely little Whitecap Gnome Maiden is playing a tiny harp like instrument done in a shimmering gold, holograph thread. Her skirt is all decorated in tiny hearts and scroll work. One of my favorites! She will be the focal point of a new project I am working on.

The following gnomes are my personal creations. I completed the line drawings. Digitized them using Digitizer 10000 by Janome (Version 1.3J) and with this software I can provide almost any machine format and any size for home embroiders. Once purchased you can use them on personal items for resale but they are not available for mass production. I am set up to accept PayPal and will email your design upon receipt of payment of $5 per design. Unfortunately I am not able to capture the beauty of these designs with my scanner. Beards are often embossed embroidery and when stitched out have a lace like look.

Members of the WWGA can purchase these designs for $4 each or 3 for $10.

Meet little Ronnie the Gnome. A sweet guy that children would love to have as their special gnome pal. The beard on this one is so lace like and soft looking that you simply have to feel it. Designed especially for my younger brother.

stan-the-gnome.jpg (77106 bytes)

And Stan the Gnome is simply adorable. Stan is a runner and would look great on a sweat towel as a gift for a runner! Again, the file is for Stan the Gnome only. SCENE SOLD

acmon_blue.jpg (52534 bytes)

This gnome is my special butterfly keeper. I am using him to embroider a series of small scenes on squares that can then be sewn together to create a butterfly quilt. I change the colors of the gnome's clothes to match the colors of the butterflies! His pose is such that he would also work well with the addition of different flowers in place of butterflies to create a magnificent flower collection quilt. Limited only by your imagination!
