On an air evac mission to the Queen Charlotte Islands, C-FPUN crashed into the sea. Killing the two pilots and Physician on board as well.
Kim Weitzel Shawn Currier
May 17, 2006
While responding to a possible drowning at the old Sullivan Mine in Kimberly, Paramedics Weitzel and Currier were overcome by a lack of oxygen, they were with two employees of Teck Cominco Doug Erickson and Bob Newcombe. All were deceased.
