Schwere Kompanie

WWII Tabletop Miniature Rule System.

Its all here!  Schwere Kompanie©  (SK) includes rules for Infantry, Armor, Close Assaults, Air Attacks, Artillery, Mortars, Panzerfausts, Bazookas, Heavy Machine Guns, Flamethrowers and much, much, more!

SK is designed for company-sized battles, focusing on individual Vehicles, Squads, Guns and Aircraft. One miniature on the battlefield represents one Squad, Vehicle or Gun.  Each turns represent five minutes of actual time and the scale is approximately 50 yards per inch.

SK allows for a quick-paced gaming experience. Both players are active throughout the scenario - there is no 'sit and take it' phase as with many other rules!

Ideally suited for tabletop miniatures, SK strives to reduce the use of counters and markers to a minimum in order to not distract from the overall splendor of miniature gaming.

SK strives to strike a balance between historical accuracy and playability.  Included are the many aspects of WWII combat but without losing the focus of a fun game.

Players do not have to remember all the info for any type of tank or squad as all vehicle, squad and gun types have their own reference card that contains all information and special rules relating to that particular unit. There are over 110 vehicles types and variants for Germany alone!

In the area of weapon performance and vehicle armor, no corners were cut – I don’t think we grogs would have it any other way! The armor values and penetrations abilities used have been cross referenced from many sources. Values are not simply a measure of thickness, but of slope as well.

The different squads in SK are based on the most common types for each combatant. With variable morale and elite unit rules, any Infantry force can be gamed.

I (and my merry band of  play-testers) feel  that SK strikes the perfect balance between realism and fun.

I would truly love to give these rules away for free but due to the costs of many research books, CD ROM's, MS programs, postage, etc, I had to put a price on them. That being said, your purchase of the rulebook also qualifies you for any and all upgrades for free! New scenarios? Free! Rule modifications  Free! Additions? FREE! You get the idea...

You get all the major players, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Italy, Poland, Rumania, Russia, United States and United Kingdom (including Australia, Canada, New Zealand,  India, and South Africa) as well as Japan and all rules necessary to play them.

In short, I am a wargamer first and foremost and I feel that these rules are the best tactical, one mini = one tank, miniature rule system out there!

Try them!
