Cicadas popup in central Ohio after 17 year cycle....like clockwork. More info to come. One newspaper reported that the exoskeletons (due to molting of the insects) piled up to 3 feet deep in some places.
Flames overshadow Bolts
Well, one more game to go for the Flames - apparently, there were 40,000 people in Calgary streets celebrating tonight, and they're expecting 100,000 on their famous 17th ave. for Hockey Night in Canada on Saturday.
As a quick note, apparently the flames were not only striking at Tampa Bay in Game 3, one of the TBs players houses actually burnt down during the playoff game - talk about two strikes!

Definitely not 'Quid pro quo'
Why is it you can feel the same every day, but some days suck more than others? I goaltend for a local roller hockey team. Last night, I had an awesome game. Tonight, I go in feeling exactly the same. And suck dismally. And have a couple of beers to make up for it. Goes to show you sometimes you get nothing for something.
