Christmas time is here again...
...well enough said. To those of you who don't celebrate, have a happy Hanukkah (yes I know it was earlier in December, but what the hell) and/or other various days of drinking. To everyone else - enjoy your drinking. And maybe some family time if you can stand it.
Something I just remembered - had a friend from Israel come over and she said that in the strict Jewish culture, you couldn't eat cheese and meat together. As we ate pizza.
Finished my shopping 3 days earlier than usual - this had something to do with getting presents out to various family members by Greyhound. I'm sad that my record of last minute shopping has been broken. As I'm staying around Vancouver this year, maybe I'll go for some Boxing Day sales and try to start early for next year...but probably not.
And as always - commercialization was king this year yet again - although apparently the lack of hockey is hurting the Canadian GDP - it was supposed to grow again this quarter.
