Ryder Lake is an historic farming community nestled in the shadow of Elk Mountain. The Ryder Lake Ramble is an experience you won't want to miss! Join in a self-guided tour of farms with unusual animals, exceptional and unique gardens, peaceful woodland trails, panoramic vistas, and much more.
The Ryder Lake Ramble began in 1998. The Ramble is an immensely popular event and has become an exciting showcase for agricultural tourism in Canada. Many rural communities in BC and Alberta are now using the Ryder Lake Ramble as a template to start their own agri-tours.
The Ryder Lake Ramble is operated by the Ryder Lake Farmers’
Institute. Funds raised are used to maintain the Ryder Lake Hall. The Hall is a
great meeting place and an ideal wedding location or quiet venue for a memorial
service.
