January 09, 2012--Happy New Year everyone! Thank you for being patient with us. I know updates have been non-existent these past few months, but we’ve been very busy here at the castle, and once we cement our upcoming releases for the 2012, we will be updating you shortly, so stay tuned!

Sept. 16, 2011-- Castle Rain will be attending this year's JET CITY COMIC-Con in Seattle on September 24th! Tim Vigil will also be at our booth signing and sketching, among other things. I'll post our table # once I receive it. I hope to see some of you there!

August 24th, 2011--Big thanks to everyone who stopped by our table at the San Diego Comic Con. We had a blast. The show is just monstrous, and i'm just amazed how many people attend this show. Many thanks to Tim Vigil and Justin Dutta, and qall my other table mates--it was a lot of fun. The JACK SDCC edition is now available for order on the web-site, so just contact me if you would like a copy. Also, I've got some very cool news to announce about JACK the LANTERN, but you'll have to wait just a little longer. The JACK fans are going to like this one :) Stay tuned!

July 8th, 2011--This update was long overdue. First off, I want to thank the organizers of the Calgary Comic Expo; It was a first class run show, and I couldn't have been more happier with the turn out. I also want to thank everyone who visited and purchased books from our table. It was my first time at this expo, and the support and gracious comments for our books was just overwhelming and inspiring. I will make sure to attend next year's show!

Now, for San Diego 2011. I, Michael Angelos, will be attending the San Diego Comic-Con this year. Tim Vigil and I will be sitting together in Artist's Alley in section II 07. As you noticed on the front page, we’re commemorating my return to the Con (7-years ago) with a new printing of Jack the Lantern # 5 that has been sold out for over 5-years. The book features a new Tim Vigil cover, and will be limited to only 100-copies, which is printed on heavy glossy stock. As an extra bonus, I’ve included a 12-page preview (dialogue free) of a new series entitled: SPEAR OF AMERICA: Spartan Blood War. You've probably heard me mention this book over the years under some different names: (ZD, the Spartan: blood war). I’m finally sticking to this one—I promise. The pencils for the book were done by Joe Vigil (GIH) with inks by Tony Bledsoe. The book will sell for $8.00 at the show. Whatever copies are left, I will place them on sale at month's end.

FEB 28, 2011--Hello everyone! It’s been over 8-months since my last post and it feels great to finally get board. Unfortunately my main computer went cuckoo on me last August and I‘ve literally spent all that time trying to get it up and running. Luckily my server saved all my files, which kept my web-site up and going, but without the obvious updates.

Speaking of those, I will be attending the Emerald City Comic-con on March 4-6. You’ll find me in Artist Alley (table B-10) with Tim Vigil and Stephen Sadowski present at or beside my table. Yeah baby!

I will have on hand the first Castle Rain / Jack the Lantern t-shirt available for sale! The shirt is printed on white, 100 % heavy cotton and features a black and white Tim Vigil re-print design from the ECCC 1942 book. You can just click on the sample at the top for a better view. I’ll have some for sale after the show—they’re only $15.00 each, so just e-mail if you want one after March 6th.
