For the Following Terms:

1. This cat/kitten is being purchased as a PET only.

3. Buyer agrees that transfer of possession, or care of the cat/kitten to another party may only be done with the written permission of Breeder/Seller.

4. This kitten or cat will be kept indoors and not be allowed to run free except on a leash or in an enclosed area.

5. Buyer agrees that this cat/kitten will not be de-clawed.

6. Buyer agrees to neuter or spay this cat/kitten between the ages of 4 to 6 months and agree and guarantees that this cat/kitten WILL NOT be used for stud or breeding. Buyer agrees to pay the additional price of a breeding cat if cat is not altered by 7 months as this would constitute the sale price of a breeding animal. If Buyer reports to Breeder/Seller that this kitten has died before being altered, Buyer must provide Breeder/Seller with written verification of death signed by licensed veterinarian or be liable for the additional price.

7. Seller agrees to provide registration papers for kitten upon presentation of a written CERTIFICATION OF ALTERATION from a licensed veterinarian that includes the micro chip number of kitten. If certification is not received when kitten reaches 7 months Breeder/Seller will notify Buyer to provide certification within 15 days or Buyer will pay breeder price for kitten.

8. Buyer understands that there are many plants that are poisonous and toxic to cats/kittens. Buyers agrees to educate himself on plants that are dangerous to cats/kittens and agrees to remove or replace all of these plants out of reach of cat/kitten before cat/kitten is in Buyers possession. Breeder/Seller will not be responsible for injuries caused to cat/kitten by plants in Buyers home.

9. Buyer agrees that a cat/kitten, when entering a home where there is another animal present, will be isolated for a period of up to 2 weeks and will only be gradually introduced to other animals in the home. It is strongly advised that even a kitten entering a home with no other pets should be gradually introduced to the household, being isolated in one room with its litter box and food for at least two weeks, to allow for adjustment to its new home. Each cat/kitten will differ in the time it needs to bond with its new family. Please allow the cat/kitten ample time to adjust, especially if the cat/kitten has been shipped. A period of two to three weeks should be the very least amount of time allowed the cat/kitten for an adjustment period. Longer if this is an adult cat or children in the house. Please give your new friend and family member a chance to bond with you and its new surroundings. Your new cat/kitten needs to feel safe and secure for its unique individual personality to surface.

10. If this cat/kitten is found to be neglected or mistreated, Buyer will surrender said cat/kitten to Seller, unconditionally WITHOUT refund of purchase price.

11. If for any reason the cat/kitten is returned to the Breeder/Seller, Buyer agrees to pay all expenses, including shipping costs, mileage and re-examination expenses by Breeder/Seller’s veterinarian. This examination will include a complete “viral panel” blood test for FELV, FIP, and FIV viruses. If kitten/cat is returned to Seller for resale on behalf of the Buyer, the terms of this resale will be agreed upon under separate written agreement.

12. Buyer agrees to provide yearly veterinarian examinations and to keep cat/kitten recommended vaccines up to date for the duration of cat/kitten’s life, as well as obtain proper veterinarian care if illness is suspect or an accident has occurred.

13. If this cat/kitten is vaccinated for Feline Leukemia health warranty is voided.

14. If this cat/kitten is given any vaccinations other than killed virus health warranty is voided.

15. If this cat/kitten is given a rabies vaccination at the same time of any other vaccination the health warranty is voided.

16. The Breeder/Seller will have completed all of the age-appropriate vaccinations.

17. The BUYER assumes responsibility of all expenses incurred in relation to the cat/kitten after said cat/kitten leaves the possession of the Breeder/Seller, as well as expenses incurred at the request of the Buyer before the cat/kitten leaves possession of the Breeder/Seller. The Breeder/Seller assumes no liability for any veterinary costs or other expenses incurred by the owner, even in the case of detecting a defect or disease unknown at the time of sale. The Buyer acknowledges that the breeder’s liability can never exceed what is expressly guaranteed in this agreement.

18. The cat/kitten health is guaranteed for a period of 72 hours from the time the kitten leaves possession of the Seller. It is recommended that the Buyer take the cat/kitten to their Veterinarian (at Buyers expense) within this period of time for Buyers own satisfaction and protection. If cat/kitten is found to be ill, a written statement from Buyers Vet stating the problem will be sent to Breeder/Seller. If it is determined that the cat/kitten was ill when it left the Breeder/Seller, the Breeder/Seller will pay for cat/kittens return to Breeder/Seller. The cat/kitten cannot be returned after the guarantee period has expired and/or if it has been exposed to another cat which has not been currently tested for FELV, FIV or FIP. Under no circumstances is a kitten to be destroyed prior to notification by Buyer to Breeder/Seller.

19. Should the kitten die within one (1) year as a direct result of a congenital defect, said kitten will be replaced ONLY if an appropriate autopsy is performed by a licensed Veterinarian and a Veterinarian Certificate is provided with cause of death. There are no cash refunds. A replacement kitten of equal quality will be sent to Buyer (at Seller’s expense) as soon as such kitten is available. If no replacement is available at that time, Breeder/Seller will have 8 months to furnish a satisfactory replacement.

20. Buyer has read ALL ARTICLES about Bengals on internet or books and understands the importance of CONTINUED LITTERBOX TRAINING FOR THEIR NEW KITTEN. Wildforest  kittens are litter trained when leaving, when arriving at new home it is important to continue the litter box training, with having one litter box per cat/kitten and one extra. If Buyer is found to be in violation of any of the above or mistreating the cat/kitten Breeder/Seller has a right to demand the return of cat/kitten. This cat/kitten will receive excessive amounts of tender loving care, will be fed the best possible diet, will receive substantial amounts of entertainment, and will be treated with the utmost respect.
