This page combines Nitro Mono and Gas Mono hulls on one page. Gas Mono hulls are generally larger (in length and freeboard) steady fast hulls to handle the power and weight of gasoline two-stroke engines. Where-as the Nitro Mono hulls are not quite as large but will handle what they are designed for, the lighter weight of the nitro engines.

There are some mono hulls that run just as well with either type of engine, whether it's gas or glow, you wont be disappointed.

With the advancement of gas engines over the last several years, they too are gaining RPM and losing the weight. The hull you choose is coming down to what type of boating you plan on doing. I do recommend if you elect to go mono that you allow me to suggest the mono hull for your boating needs. I only ask that you tell me what your plans are.

The Lazer 40 is a high performance hull that runs excellent in all water conditions. The Lazer can accommodate a multitude of engines and hardware combinations, and is easy to set up. With its sleek lines, outstanding performance and quality construction ,the Lazer 40 is a must for the all out racer. As for the sport boater the Lazer 40 is the one for you! Using lower priced stock K&B 7.5 Nitro engines you can hit speeds of 50 and go ballistic with 11 and 13 cc nitro. If gas is your thing the water cooled Zenoah makes this hull a blast to drive using a stock 231 or 260 with tuned pipe. Speeds of 50 mph plus are norm.

The Saber 40 is proven to be an outstanding race hull for the stock or air cooled classes with it's high windshield. This hull will run through a rooster tale or into strong winds without even a hiccup. It's very stable for speeds up to 53mph.

This is an all-out high performance race hull that is very stable and will make predictable corners in most water conditions. As for the sport boater, the Lazer 45 runs great with a stock G260 PUM Zenoah. It's easy to setup and is not hardware sensitive.

The Razor 45 was originally designed for the Part

Time Stock Class Racer / Part Time Sport Boater.

It has a very high lift hull design with rear chine strakes

added for extra stability.

It was made to run with stock to mildly modified Zenoah

Power for Boaters running at higher elevation and still

achieve respectable speeds using a Canister Muffler or Tuned Pipe.

It has also been tested using a very high-powered M&D Zenoah 260
with a Tuned Pipe with great results.

The Razor 45 is still in the R&D Stages and it has proven to be a very
fast hull design with Stock Zenoah Power and Tuned Pipes.

The soul purpose of the is hull is to give the sport boater on a budget the opportunity to own an A/C hull using the less expensive air-cooled trimmer engines. The Sport 45A (air-cooled) is a surface drive hull that loves rough water. It has a ton of freeboard to conceal your engine for that scale appearance. With it's unique stepped transom this hull is fast and simple to setup using the Octura OC8STR-Q strudder assembly.

The hull comes in a high gloss gel-coat finish with the deck and hull pre-joined with the transom doublers installed.
