What do you want to climb today? Here are other mountains I've enjoyed climbing in the Rockies, Alps, Cascades and Sierras. These range from scrambles, slogs and walk-ups to more serious mountaineering and north face alpine climbs. I used a guidebook for many of these. (or, you could also hire a guide)!
Western Canada Peaks
Many of these mountains are members of the elite 11,000-footers of the Canadian Rockies. So far, only two people (Calgarians) have climbed all 50 of these peaks. Many others like me, are still trying. Unlike bigger, easier Rockies summits in USA, undertaking to climb all 50 Canadian peaks can be a lifetime goal requiring a high degree of skill, perseverance, good planning and luck. Access can be as challenging as the actual climb. Crampons, ice axes and technical climbing gear are all necessary.
