Mount Fox 2973 m
Kananaskis Country, Alberta

Mount Fox is an exciting scramble that straddles the Alberta-British Columbia boundary, southwest of Calgary. This day trip gives a birds-eye view of beautiful Kananaskis Lakes and the fabulous big peaks nearby like Mount Joffre. A rope is not required when conditions are dry.

short but interesting crack near the top of the route.

the route.

Joffre in distance at far right of picture. We were blessed with a fine July day for this
ascent.
A fabulous view north encompasses Kananaskis Lakes and a myriad of more
peaks to climb.
