Mount Richardson from the summit of Mount Redoubt
Mount Richardson 3086 m, rises high in the Skoki area near Lake Louise. The ascent is mainly a long hike, and grants views of the distant Goodsirs and Sir Donald (I think I saw it!), but even better views of big Lake Louise peaks like Mounts Lefroy and Victoria that lie across the valley. You can do this as a day trip, but many parties camp at Hidden Lake and spend time hiking, scrambling and exploring the alpine surroundings. When the body needs a rest, you can always go fishing in the lakes nearby. Hardy souls may even try taking a dip in the frigid waters.
Lake Louise group from Mount
Richardson. There are many fine mountaineering objectives in this select group of summits.
Five are over 11,000' high.

Strolling along the summit ridge, with Mount Hector behind. Beauty of a
