Jessie was my foundation bitch, my first Am Staff....sadly she passed away in 1998. She was my best friend and a wonderful ambassador for the breed.

Her achievements included winning Best Brood Bitch in Specialty at the American National Specialty in Chicago in 1992, we did lots of therapy work, work with the Canadian Superdogs team, did flyball and scent hurdle racing,schutzhund work, and she was always at classes I taught , willing and ready to be used for demonstration.

  Jessie was famous in the obedience ring for falling asleep on the long sit,and as long as there wasnt a wind or something, she wouldnt topple over, her long downs were solid as granite....she had been peed on, jumped on, and a male even tried to come over and breed her...all on the long down, and she never broke (not sure if she even woke up!).

So easy going and laidback she was there when my daughter was born and while she learned to walk (Kaley learned to stand by pulling herself up on the front of dog crates!)  Jessie was my mentor, teaching me kindness, patience and unconditional love.    I know you will be waiting for me when I cross that rainbow bridge too, Jess.
