More than a French Apartment
Andlau is a small village nestled in one of the many valleys of the Vosges Mountains.
As others have in centuries past, we too were drawn to this place beside the Andlau River.
We selected and furnished this French apartment for our personal use while living and working in Europe.
We take great pleasure in sharing the apartment, and our knowledge of the area, with other independent travelers. There are guidebooks, maps and brochures in the apartment. It is our pleasure to offer you suggestions and to arrange personal connections and wine tastings.
Consider the village your garden. Within steps of the front door, you can walk pathways along the Andlau River and climb through the vineyards to embrace the broad vistas from the gazebo. Stroll along an ancient wall through vineyards and orchards to purchase the morning baguette.
Or try "le pain au chocolat" or "croissant". There is a post office, bank, bakery, restaurants, grocery and convenience store, and a tourist bureau.
Every Wednesday morning there is a local farmers market located at the village fountain.

A view of the village from the banks of the Andlau River.
