In a brief fit of ambition, I started putting together this website to suppport the game I play with several friends.
Content is added sporadically, but I'll summarize any updates at the bottom of this page. A tip of the
hat to Niall who very quickly supplied me with lots of the game details, as well as all the players who make the game worth the
time of actually putting this site together. For anyone visiting, we're in Vancouver, B.C. and play Ars Magica once a month, usually the
last Saturday. If you're in the neighborhood and care to join us, drop me a line.
You may at this point find some links that go nowhere... sorry, but they serve as reminders for me. In time.. in time...
The Iberian Peninsula, 1220 AD. The reconquista is
under way, and the covenant lies about twenty miles to
the north of the border between the Kingdom of Castile
and the empire of the Almohads and some forty miles to
the east of Alcantara. The covenant itself takes the
form of an eight-storey tower within an
irregularly-shaped, open-roofed keep, itself
surrounded by a curtain wall. The whole edifice is
built on a mountain peak close to the Tagus River. The
nearest habitation is the village of Santa Maria de
las Perditas, some ten miles to the east of the
covenant.
Our next game is slated for late August / early Sept., 2005. Andy will be the storyguide, and the story will pick up one season after the tribuanl of 1221.
