If I get a chance to put together a cronicle of our past sessions I will, but my primary objective will be to keep this page up to date going forward
November 1220 - The magi of the covenant were curious
of the status of their silver mine, given that,
strictly speaking, it is on the lands of Don Diego.
They sent Naif of Jerbiton and Edwin the archer to
Alcantara in order to seek Don Diego out, and were
told that in the new year he would be holding court at
Torre Polino, some 50 miles to the north of Falcon's
Reach. They travelled to Torre Polino. As they
approached the village through the forest, they were
aware of being watched by a creature with yellow fur
with black spots, and it struck them that the village
itself seemed curiously quiet. At the castle in the
centre of the village they discovered that Don Diego
had not arrived yet, but they met his twin brother,
Don Rodrigo Ramirez.
Meanwhile, the covenant was visited by Martin of
Mercere, a redcap who was there primarily to give
notice of the upcoming tribunal meeting, but was also
able to provide some details about the history of
Falcon's Reach. In particular, he noted that one
member of the covenant, Belenos of Tytalus, was
convicted of diabolism in 961 during the purge of
House Tytalus. he was executed by a Flambeau magus
named Lucianus, though the body was never found.
December 1220 - A few days before the end of the new
year, the covenant was visited by one Don Jose de la
Rosa, a junior knight who was sent by Don Diego to
summon the magi to pay their rent. They travelled to
Torre Polino, again becoming aware of the beast in the
undergrowth, and arrived at Don Diego's New Year court
slightly late but just in time to witness the homage
ceremonies of his six vassals, Don Jose, Don Lodovico
Garcia, Don Roderigo Fernandez, Don Sancho Diaz, Don
Montano de las Cavas and (the clearly discontented)
Don Rodrigo Ramirez. There they also met Don Diego's
advisor, Padre Bartolomeo of the Benedictine Order,
who clearly had no love for magi. After renewing the
homage of his vassals, Don Diego received rent from
his tenants (including the magi) and judged disputes
between them, but the court was disturbed by a peasant
who burst in seeking Don Diego's aid, and raving about
a golden-haired, black marked beast that had stolen
his child. Don Diego announced that a hunt would be
conducted the next day to slay the beast, and the
court was adjourned. It is the opinion of the magi
that the beast in question is a leopard that they have
encountered on a previous occasion.
Iwan produces 2 pawns of Vim Vis through extraction, and upon hearing of the nature of the found mushrooms, dispatches a few grogs to harvest most of the remaining 'shrooms. Next season all magi need to make aging rolls.
