Here come the links!

This is my PERSONAL links pages, things that I find of interest.

My links page became too long. Someone said to make it shorter so that there is less scrolling involved. I made this into an Index page to other "links" pages that should open in their own windows. Each page is a short scroll, or no scroll at all. Feedback encouraged.

• WHERE I live. is about the city, Province and country I live in. Newly added links include the BUG LAB.
• FUN, cool & interesting things that I have found on the internet. Games, information and more. Recent additions are a Quiddich game (Harry Potter) and Yahooligans.
• HOMEWORK helpers for the kids. Newest item is Winged Sandals, a fun site about Greek studies, uses Flash.
• SEARCH sites, portals & news sites that I use and trust. Added Yahooligans here too, as a kids portal.
• GEEKy html, computer & science stuff, like shareware stuff and pictures of space. Most recently added Exploratorium - a museum of art, science and human perception - in the Science section, and in the Computer section is Eeye (Windows security issues) and Avast (a highly rated FREE antivirus)
• CAUSES that I support the efforts of.
• CELTIC, Gothic art & castle stuff. Needs more content. No, Gothic does not mean kinky - it is the art and architecture of the Goth's (12th - 16th century Europe).

About these links.
These links are checked on a "when I get around to it" basis. Links pages are continually changing. I use this page to launch off into cyberwhatever often, as my browsers default homepage. New and interesting things are being added, while pages that have become outdated, boring or just aren't there anymore, are removed. Many links have a brief subjective review, posted by me. Pages change, sometimes in bad ways. If you don't think that the review matches the page now, email me and I will go back again and consider a new review (or remove the page). If I don't like the looks or content of a site, I delete it. The reviews are completely subjective, that is - they tell you how I feel about them. You may disagree. We can discuss a disagreement by email, but sometimes it will just come down to "it's my page, and that's how I feel".

By the nature of the internet, some of the links may move, or change their file names or in some other way get "lost" from where I expect them to be. Sometimes, content changes in bad ways. Whenever I find this is the case, I correct the situation if I can. If you cannot make the link from my page, or the link doesn't look right to you, please contact me and I will check the problem. There are no "adult" links from my site.
Having said all this, please remember that your browser may tell you that something doesn't exist, just because the systems are overloaded or the routing is wrong or any of thousands of reasons. If a link doesn't work, wait a bit and try again. If it still doesn't work, then let me know. . . If you find an adult-type link, check first that you haven't picked up one of the common browser highjacking softwares that are out there. Often this type of software is disguised as a "browser enhancer" program, but it is a variation of regular spy-ware. It sells it's service to advertisers and puts links on pages you are viewing without anyones permission. So, if the page mentions (for example) fast girls racing, they may have an advertiser that pays them to link to fast girls. This could go to any number of unwanted fast girls sites that were not intended. Most commonly the link will be highlighted in yellow (non of my links are coded to be highlighted in yellow).
