February 08 - SuperFunk is victorious! A hard fought match at the Russian Center in Vancouver ended with the Models Incorporated going down to defeat. Memphis Raines was arguing with the substituting official and didn't notice VK coming in from behind for the roll-up and 3 count. SuperFunk now hold the ECCW Tag Team belts and have been challenged for a rematch by the Models. Fast Freddy Funk stipulated that the Models should put their team on the line. If the Models win - they regain the belts, but if they lose - the team of Models Incorporated is no more! The rematch is scheduled for Saturday, March 1st at the Russian Center in Vancouver. December 07- The team of SuperFunk (NOT Fat & Gay!!) had a shot at the Tag Team Belts against the Models Inc. and probably would have won except for the cheating ways of Memphis Raines. Just when our boys were looking good for a pin, Memphis attacked VK outside the ring and after sending VK head first into the ring post, he jumps into the ring and, with MR2, double teams Fast Freddy Funk. Two against one is the way the Models kept the belts! This isn't over! Vicious Verne, Fast Freddy and VK are all angry and ready to do whatever it takes to beat the Models and take their belts home. The new yaer is here and this would be a great start to 2008 if our boys could bring home the title of ECCW TAg Team Champions!
November 07 - having beaten the Models (Memphis Raines and MR2) before they became the ECCW Tag Team Champions, SuperFunk was ready to take home the hardware. This would have happened except they were disqualified when Freddy used the belts to clobber both of the Models. Who could blame him though, after all - it WAS the Models, right?
In October, Vicious Verne Siebert surprised the audience at the Russian Center in Vancouver by announcing that he is now managing VK (formerly Volcano) and that VK would be joining the former Heavywieght Champion Fast Freddy Funk to form the team of "SuperFunk". Memphis thought that they should be called Fat and Gay, a name that both Funk and VK do not want to be called out at ringside, although some fans were chanting it at their recent match. At that match, they beat the Models (VK pinning MR2 for the 3 count) but this was before the Models became Champions.
September 07 saw the former Superhero Volcano show up in the ring with a new look, a little more edge and an angry attitude. He also came in with a new name - the now supervillian wants to be known as VK and hates being called Volcano, as that was in his goody-goody past.
On August 24th, 2007, after a match against Marty Sugar and Duece Savage, Volcano turn on his then tag team partner, La Sombra. The match went badly after La Sombra was reversed into the ropes and knocked Volcano off of the apron onto the floor. Volcano challenged his partner and then planted him in the ring. He then used a chair to beat La Sombra so badly that the Masked team of El Phantasmo and The Amazing Halo had to come to the rescue and eventually carry the limp body of La Sombra from the ring. The Worlds Smallest Wrestler was forced to return to his home in Winnepeg to recover, and Volcano made it clear that he was not going to take the abuse from the fans anymore.
