Armi Grano is one of the finest jazz vocalists on the contemporary jazz music scene today. Her genuine engaging personality has attracted fans from all over the world. With four albums recorded, Armi is enjoying sales and airplay all over Canada, USA, Mexico, England and Asia and is able to captivate audiences all over the world by singing in different languages including Spanish, English, Japanese, Italian, Portuguese, and Filipino. Her influences include Ella Fitzgerald, Sarah Vaughan, Astrud Gilberto and Anita O’Day, which have helped her to develop her own blend of music featuring an exciting mix of Latin, pop, swing and jazz influences. You’ll fall in love with her distinct style and smooth clear voice. Originally from the Philippines, Armi started singing at the age of 2 during family gatherings. She learned the songs by listening to radio stations broadcasted through US Airbases. She has always loved the great American standards and sang along with Frank, Sarah and Dean while she was growing up.
