I would like to say a very big THANK YOU to you and Gayle for the
class yesterday. I really enjoyed myself. Your studio was fabulous and
the group itself was great. Gayle was extremely patient and I really
enjoyed the class. I cannot wait for more.
PS. Yes, my husband and his friends were amazed that I painted the
piece! Yeah me!

Painting Pleasures
Sharlene’s
Artfully Toled home studio is a great place to paint, as you are made
to feel right at home, and so you do feel right at home. It doesn’t
take long to make friends and have fun while learning a new project or
finishing up old ones. Sharlene is always there to help, and she
carries almost every art supply you’ll need – if she doesn’t have it,

a studio where we can stretch our abilities, as Sharlene is constantly
trying new techniques, maintaining varied mediums and providing each
student with one-on-one coaching whenever needed. Fellowship,

The atmosphere at
Artfully Toled is relaxed and fun; there are many projects to choose

I travel an hour
by transit to reach Artfully Toled Studio because of my love of
painting. The bonus is that not only do I indulge in my passion but I
get a great teacher in Sharlene. She has a way of teaching that shows
me not only the technique but does it in such a way that I feel
confident in trying it - that is a special talent. The class is full
of learning, laughter, conversation and my "therapy session" all
wrapped in one creative welcoming atmosphere. I work in a stressful
profession and I find that a painting class in Sharlene's studio is
like a week's vacation and a fantastic stress reliever. I enjoy the
variety of classes which offers me the opportunity to decide on an
easy or challenging class in whatever style of painting I love.
Sharlene not only offers lessons but carries everything I require from
brushes to a large variety of surfaces to the basics like tracing
paper and palette knives - literally one stop shopping. ~ Hilda
The studio
provides a very positive and cheery atmosphere. Sharlene is an
excellent teacher, encouraging, knowledgeable, helpful, always able to
help a person improve their painting techniques and skills. Everyone
leaves the studio for home after a great painting time that includes a
