The Vernon Judo Club bases belt promotions on attendance, attitude, techniques, tournament results and physical fitness. We do kyu-level (coloured) belt promotions and make dan (black) belt promotion recommendations.
We are in the process of adopting the Judo Canada Grading Syllabus.
At this point, we expect our members to know the Kodokan Gokyo and are using elements of the Judo Canada Kyu Syllabus.
